🥏 Which Frisbee championships have you participated in? What do these competitions look like? 🌟
I have participated in the European Ultimate Championships. These competitions consist of 7 days of intense competition between national teams from all over Europe. 🇪🇺💪
🏋️♂️ How do you approach your preparation and training for Frisbee competitions to ensure you showcase your best performance on the field? 🏋️♀️
I train at least twice a week with my club team. Additionally, depending on the time of the year, I add strength training, mobility exercises, and conditioning to ensure the best performance, but most importantly, to prevent injuries throughout the season. 💥🏃♂️
🤔 Why did you choose to practice Frisbee? What do you think is unique about this sport? 🤔
I think the most extraordinary thing about Ultimate Frisbee is that it's a self-refereed sport. This means that all the decisions on the field are made by the players. This requires a lot of respect towards the opponent, as well as an open mind and humility. I also like to say that it’s not just a sport, it’s a lifestyle. You travel the world playing on different fields and beaches all over the globe, spending time with a great community of people who are as crazy about this sport as you are. 🤝🌍
🌟 Can you share a particular Frisbee competition experience that has been especially memorable or impactful in your athletic career? 🌟
Actually, I should probably mention one of the elite international tournaments, but to be honest, it was one of the fun beach tournaments. This was my first experience with the international community, and I met an amazing team of experienced players. We still meet in different countries to reunite a couple of times a year. 🌴🏖️
👔 How do you balance your professional commitments at ANIXE with your dedication to Frisbee? 👟
Well, like all people who are passionate about something, work and Ultimate Frisbee are parallel parts of my life. Also, I don’t get to go on holidays like normal people do, as I spend my entire annual leave playing in tournaments and traveling to them. But it’s worth it. I also feel a lot of support from my colleagues at work. I know they watch my games, cheer for me, and keep their fingers crossed the whole week. It really feels great to have this kind of energy coming to work after an exhausting weekend. 💼🥏👏
